When you create and use a Mardly account, information may include your email address, username, display name, password information and profile information you choose to provide. Mardly may also process information you submit through Squads, chats and other platform features.
If you choose Google sign-in, Mardly receives account information provided through Google's authentication service, including a verified email address and the identifiers needed to associate the sign-in with your Mardly account.
2. Content and community activity
Messages, Squad participation, reactions, profile details and other content you submit are processed so Mardly can provide the relevant features. Depending on the feature, content may be visible to other users or members of a Squad.
3. Technical and security information
Mardly may process technical information needed to maintain sessions, authenticate users, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and keep the service reliable. This can include information associated with requests, devices or browser sessions where necessary for these purposes.

- Create and maintain user accounts and sessions.

5. Sharing
Mardly does not need to make your private account information public simply because you use the platform. Information may be disclosed when necessary to provide the service through service providers, protect Mardly and its users, comply with law, or otherwise with an appropriate legal basis.
Content you deliberately publish or send to a community or another user is different: it may be visible to the people for whom that feature is intended.
6. Passwords and authentication
Passwords should be stored using appropriate password-protection mechanisms rather than in readable form. Authentication sessions are used to keep you signed in and to protect access to account features.
7. Retention and deletion
Mardly retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legitimate security, operational and legal needs. Specific retention periods may differ by data type and feature.
Where account deletion or other privacy controls are available, requests will be handled according to the relevant Mardly process and applicable law.
